*NEW* Try Dressage Initiative

TRY DRESSAGE LEAGUE

Introducing 'Try Dressage', a brand-new initiative by DINR designed to welcome non-members to experience the fun of dressage at our shows!

This mini-league will run during all our shows until and including Laurel View on 19th January 2025, offering a fun and friendly environment where riders of all ages—juniors and adults—can take part.

Open to those who have never registered with Dressage Ireland before, this is the perfect chance for newcomers to dip their toes into the world of dressage in a supportive and encouraging setting.

Competitors will collect points across the league, with fantastic prizes up for grabs at our annual prize night in February 2025.

Whether you're looking to challenge yourself or simply enjoy a new experience with your horse, 'Try Dressage' is your opportunity to get involved, meet new friends, and be part of the DINR community!

TRY DRESSAGE – UNREGISTERED LEAGUE RULES

This initiative is open to riders and horses who have not previously been registered with Dressage Ireland.

League will run at the following levels:

Intro (split into junior U18 and adult sections)

Prelim (split into junior U18 and adult sections)

Note - junior riders must be 6 years old on 1st January in the year they are competing.

Entries should be made in the ‘Try Dressage’ classes on the DI website for each show.

To qualify for the league, a horse and rider combination must compete (at any level on the same horse) at a minimum of 3 of our shows before 20/01/25.

Points will be allocated based on placings at each level.

In the event of equality of points at the conclusion of the league, the rider who has attended the most shows will gain the higher place. If still equal, the actual percentages gained at the shows will be used and the highest total will gain the higher place.
