Further details are available on the HSI Website . Competitors and horses in these classes must be registered members of Dressage Ireland.
Horse Sport Ireland, in conjunction with the Department for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, is delighted to launch the dates and venues for the 2024 DAFM Dressage Development Series. Prize money of over €46,000 will be available across the league with prizes for 4-, 5-, 6- and 7- & 8-year-old horses, as well as breeders prizes. In 2024, three legs of the DAFM Dressage Development Series will feature standalone pony-only classes, for 5- and 6- & 7-Year-Old ponies.
This year, as in previous years, the DAFM Dressage Development Series will run as a league with four qualifying legs and a final. A minimum of one appearance in a qualifier, with minimum scores of 65% is required, to be eligible to attend the final.
The DAFM Dressage Development Series, delivered by Horse Sport Ireland; the National Federation, is open to all horses registered in a Studbook, main or supplementary section, with a specific breed documented within.
This can include main section studbook equines OR supplementary section studbook equines. Ponies must also have a studbook passport with a breed recorded to be eligible to compete and receive prize money. Horses and ponies with Identity Documents are not eligible to compete or obtain prize funds.
Breeders prizes will only be paid to breeders residing on the island of Ireland.
Scores obtained in HSI qualifiers will NOT count as qualifying scores for the DI Winter Finals, for DINR's Winter Finals or for DINR's Winter League.
